『F1』シリーズや『GRID』シリーズなど、レース系ゲームでお馴染みのコードマスターズから、新作『Toybox Turbos』PS3版が、本日12月5日に発売された。

『Toybox Turbos』は、ラジコンを操るような、新感覚のレースゲーム。キッチンや学校、おもちゃ部屋など個性的な全18コース（隠しコースを含めると全36コース）を舞台に、機関銃や巨大ハンマーなどのパワーアップアイテムを駆使して、ゴールを目指す。

　3種類のプレイモードが搭載されていて、楽しみ方も様々。チャンピオンシップを勝ち抜いて大ボスとの対戦を目指す“キャリアモード”、最大4人での対戦プレイができる“マルチプレイモード”、オンライン上で見ず知らずのプレイヤーと楽しむ“オンラインマルチプレイ”の3種類が用意されている。

　なおこの『Toysbox Turbos』はダウンロード専用ソフトとなっていて、PlayStation Storeで販売されている。また、12月5日（金）にはXbox360版もXbox.comで発売開始される。価格は、体験版が無料、ライセンスファイルは1,500円（税別）となっている。
