「Quite tricky conditions today at Fuji with the rain. The car felt quite good in Q1 and I could go to Q2.Then we choose to stay on the same set of tires which was a mistake. I also wasn’t lucky with the traffic and only got one lap during which the tires were not up to temperature. Anyway Daisuke’s result is very positive for the team and I hope that we can continue like this tomorrow for the race.」

「予選はウェットコンディションのトリッキーな路面状況になりましたが、ダイスケは正しいタイヤ選択をして、トラフィックに引っかかることもなく、適正なタイヤ温度でアタックができ、Q2へ進出することができました。決勝レースでも予選と同じように同じようにポジティブな結果を出せるようにしたいと思います」
