「I took a good start and I was already P9 after the first lap. Then the pace was not too bad even if it was really difficult to follow the Toyotas at the front. After a few laps I started to lose the grip on the rear of the car. It became worse and worse and on lap 18 I had a suspension failure. That’s racing! We’ll try to learn from this weekend and come back stronger at Motegi.」

「いいスタートを切ることができ、1周目には9番手に上がることができました。なかなか前を走るトヨタ車をパスすることはできませんでした。その後、リヤタイヤのグリップが失い始め、18周目にはリヤサスペンションにトラブルが発生しました。僕たちはこのレースウィークでの経験を生かし、次のもてぎではいい方向に進んでいけるようにしたいと思います」
